I have been waiting to formally share the news until our family and friends knew, but I’ve been give the GREEN LIGHT to share it now….

MY SISTER IS PREGNANT!!!! Yaaaaay!! She and my brother in law, Chris are having their first baby in June! This will be the first child on my side of the family and we are SOOOO thrilled!! My sister is my one and only sibling and my best friend….and this news has just MADE my MONTH and my year, for that matter. I couldn’t be more SOO excited!!!!

When she told me, I think my heart skipped a beat because, for one…it came out in a super funny way (I commented that something looked a little large on her…and did she have something to tell me…she said well…..yes, I started balling…the whole family was there, we all started balling….you can imagine how the rest went!!) but also because I realized that our lives are changing…we’re getting older, we’re both married…and now we’re having kids of our own. It’s the fun, scarey, exciting, shocking, when did I grow up kind of feeling that I know everyone goes through!! I’m soo blessed to have my sister in my life!! She’s really amazing and I’m soo proud of her. She’s one of the hardest working, most driven, awesome people I know! She owns and/or runs many successful businesses at the ripe old age of 29 and is one of those people who is also thoughtful and loving, caring and considerate, being everything to everyone all simultaneously….and you just don’t know how she does it…but she does!!

This is also super exciting news for my parents because they have been CHOMPING at the bit, soo ready and excited for one of us to have a baby! They’ve been laying the guilt trip on THICK and so FINALLY, the pressure is off of me and they are on cloud 9!!

Jenny is also in the wedding industry and we all had a good laugh when we did the whole “due date” calculation and figured out she was due in mid June…on a weekend when she has 3 weddings that she’s in charge of! ha!! Sometimes I think God knows how to make you realize that you aren’t in control! ha!! So, stay tuned for lots of updates and pictures!! Now Mark and I are even…we laugh that he has one on his team (he likes to remind me that Graham is HIS nephew and HIS “team” is 1 up on my “team”…yea, we’re wierd!) and now I have one on my team!! Yay!!

This is the gorgeous Kiralee, also known as one of the MOST talented makeup artists in Indy!! I adore Kiralee! We are fortunate enough to work together on a pretty regular basis and every single time, I am IN AWE of her work! I have GORGEOUS brides as a standard, but when Kiralee does their makeup…these girls turn into supermodels!! I just LOVE it…it makes them feel amazing and they are incredible to photograph!! I’m headed out the door in a few minutes to work with her AGAIN on my wedding today! yay!! She is the owner of eyeMAX makeup and Lecosmetique online store for makeup artists! I was honored when she selected me, out the countless photographers she works with, to do her headshot! It’s funny, though…this is what I call the 15 minute headshot! I get a call from a friend saying they need a quick headshot, I show up and 15 minutes later, we’re done! Although, it wasn’t quite 15 minutes…you know how I like to talk! hehe!
