I was lucky enough to see two of my favorite girls last week for another fun shoot!! It truly amazes me how time flies and how quickly they’ve grown! I just adore them…and as always, loved photographing them!! Thanks for your patience with our crazy weather, Abby & Jeremy….you are wonderful…and it paid off to wait!

I’ve known Seth since he was nearly born, he is the brother of one of my best friends…and doing his senior portraits made me feel OLD! He was great for the shoot, though…playing it up and having a blast! Thanks for a great shoot, Seth…and thanks for hanging with us Brenda & Linds!

EVENTFULL PLANNING

My dear friends at Eventfull Planning asked me to do some new images for them…and of course, I was honored! So, we were ready to do the shoot and per the usual around here lately, the weather was a mess….but we decided to try anyway! Well, it proceeded to rain, lightning and even hail for the first two hours of our shoot as we sat in a van and watched!! We finally got creative and found a place to do some quick shots inside(The library was our only option…with enough light and space to do the shoot…and stay dry…but we had to stay quiet, which was no easy task) so it wasn’t a total loss! Oh….it was hilarious!!The girls were SUCH troopers on what was a challenging, yet fun evening….thanks ladies!! You are the BEST and you know I ADORE you!!!

Meet sweet little Aubrey! Oh, how I LOVE babies!!! They are the best and little Aubrey rocked it for our shoot….don’t you love how uber stylish she is with her zebra and her tutu! Soo fun!! She is the sweet baby of one of my awesome wedding couples, Heather and Russell!! Wish I could show you their gorgeous snowy wonderland wedding…but that was pre blog! Introducing…Aubrey!

Meet sweet baby Grace! She is the precious little girl of one of my couples, Melissa & Tom! You might remember them from their wedding post!! Oh, you know how I adore watching my couples grow into families…and on the day that I did this shoot, I got to meet the sweet babies of TWO of my former wedding couples!! I was so happy…. Introducing…Grace!

THE CHITTY’S & THE GREEN’S

I had such a nice shoot with the Chitty & Green families! I photographed Laura & Keith’s (the khaki and white couple) wedding a few years back and it was soo nice to see everyone again for such a great shoot! We also lucked out with a beautiful evening, after having to reschedule from the constant rain lately!

One of my wonderful and dear families, the Hill’s, had their second baby, Merritt!! I simply adore the Hill’s….I photographed Angie & Marty’s engagement, wedding, first baby and now their second!! It’s just magical watching a couple start their life and grow into a family….I just love it…and I just love THEM!! Congrats on having little Merritt, Angie & Marty….she is truly beautiful…I’m telling you, your kids are soo stunning that you really should have 10….

PHEW…I’m a BEHIND on blog posts and I’m soooo SORRY!!!! I haven’t even been in the office for a full day in the past few weeks so it’s making all the office work, editing and blog posts TOUGH to keep up!! I’m working to get them ALL up ASAP so thank you for your patience!!!

Oh, I love this sweet and fun family! I met them when I photographed Josh & Tracey’s wedding (the green and pink couple!) back in 2005 and I was fortunate enough to do their family portraits! Aren’t their colors great and FUN! Loved this session…it was laid back and tons of fun!! Thanks for a great shoot, McCarroll Family!

I am SOOO excited to finally introduce my new studio manager, Erika!!! She started earlier this winter and has been learning the ropes and joining me in this crazy thing I call JRS Photography!! She is AMAZING, an incredible person, super hard worker, terrific photographer and SOO much more….and I’m SOOO incredibly blessed to have her! She graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University with a degree in photography and is from Winona Lake, Indiana but made the transition to Indy to be a part of my team (and to be by a certain guy! hehe!)!! She is quickly learning how wild the wedding industry is and how crazy the work load is during wedding season…and yet, she is still smiling and excited about photography! YAY!!
