Soo terrific and full of images that I love…that I needed to break it into two blog posts! ;)  It ended up being a bit gray and rainy…which concerned us that our picture opportunities might be limited, but thankfully, they chose an amazing hotel, The Renaissance Schaumburg, for their wedding and it made for an incredible studio with such amazing picture opportunities, full of light, color, architecture and style…I was like a kid in a candy store, I loved it soo much!! I was almost grateful for the rain once I realized how cool this venue was!! :) Christine and Will are just awesome, they are soo fun and terrific, yet organized and timely, all while being very cool, relaxed and open to just having a great time! I couldn’t have asked for more!! Thank you soo much for allowing me to be a part of your wedding day, Christine and Will…and for trusting me with your photography! I hope you love your images…and I hope your honeymoon was just amazing! :)


I love first meetings….. they are soo sweet!

And then they turned on their inner America’s Next Top Models….and worked it OUT!!!! :)

It was such a great day, full of tons of love, laughter and joy! After days of rain and a forecast that didn’t look promising, Jill & Brent took matters into their own hands and followed a tradition they heard about by putting a rosary out on the clothes line to ward off the rain. I hadn’t heard of it but I was hoping for the best and as I pulled up to photograph the rosary, the rain stopped and the sun came out! It stayed out for the majority of the day…and was amazing! It was the wedding of Manasa and Avinash, two people who I fully adore and have truly loved working with and becoming friends with! It was an amazing wedding complete with multiple parties, loads of the kindest people, more beauty and color than one could fully absorb, more food and drinks than you would really believe….and more joy and happiness than I’ve seen in a very long time. Even with that said, I still feel at a loss to really describe this wedding adequately! Amazing is just the best word I can think of! You’ll have to stay tuned because there are three posts required to show you the whole thing!

It all started with the Mehndi Party and the henna application! The ladies were all hanging out, getting their Mehndi, which looked awesome…and having a blast…

Would you believe Avinash’s name is hidden somewhere in the Mehndi on Manasa’s hand….
