MANASA + AVINASH
CHICAGO | ILLINOIS
To say this shoot was incredible…is an understatement! Mark and I teamed up to shoot Manasa & Avinash’s engagement session in Chicago…and I usually shoot engagements alone, so it was SUCH fun having him along…and it turned into hours and hours of endless laughs, hilarious stories that we’ll remember forever, a “ferry” wheel ride and tourist group shot of the 4 of us to prove it….and tons and tons of images and a couple that we absolutely adore….
Thank you, Manasa & Avi for being such troopers through it all (the heat, then the freak fog, then the cold, the crazy jogger, the cab “incident” and the very long day)!! You two are soo wonderful and we just had the best day with you…and we still owe you dinner and a beer!!!
We started off at Navy Pier….

Then, we headed to the beach for some fun shots and some city view shots…but this freak fog rolled in and literally blanketed the entire city! You could barely see a few feet in front of you, let alone the backdrop of the city! So, we got creative!

Once the fog lifted, it was dark out…which ended up working out SOO well…and being my favorite part of the shoot…and some of my favorite engagement shots of all time!

WOWOWOW!! Simply amazing. I feel truly inspired!
Quick questions: What lense and settings did you use on the bus shoot? I would like to do that sometime.
Next: For the evening shots where you using off camera lighting with strobes? What is your way of doing that?
Thanks so much for your time.
