When I got the call that Megan & Noah’s wedding was going to have an avatar theme (just in the colors/mossy/woodsy/jewel toned vibrance kind of way!) and be complete with incredible decor, rose petal cannons at their first kiss, a horse & carriage and two great venues…I knew that it was going to be a pretty awesome wedding! It didn’t disappoint! Megan & Noah are terrific….soo sweet, loving, fun, in the moment kind of people…and they truly embraced as much joy as they could on their wedding day! It was soo sweet to watch them both be soo full of anticipation in the morning…and then see each other for their first meeting and how they were just calm, soo happy and like glue with each other from then on out. They were surrounded by incredible, loving, FUN friends and family, had a flawlessly planned day, did I mention the amazing decor??, had a crazy awesome team of wedding vendors & venues, and even ended up with some great weather despite the fact that we were seeming to dodge a huge weather bullet all day…as you will see in the outdoor images below with the clouds! It was a fantastic day and I wish you a lifetime of sheer bliss, Megan & Noah!!

When I first spoke with Melissa, I realized that this was going to be a fantastic wedding…and that she and Eric were really awesome people. She was soo nice and sweet….laid back and easy to work with…the perfect kind of client. I was about to have a baby (it was a while ago! Kudos to Melissa for being ontop of things!) so she was very understanding when I couldn’t meet or get together to discuss all the normal details that I would usually do. Well, the wedding drew closer and Melissa and I scheduled a phone meeting…it was then that I realized that we just CLICKED and we sat on the phone for over 3 hours!! She is truly special, a wonderful, thoughtful, considerate, one of a kind kind of person. When I heard about Eric, his accomplishments and his heart…I realized that they were literally mean’t for each other. As Melissa was telling me about their relationship, what they’ve gone through together, how he calms her, how she loves him…I remembered EXACTLY why I love what I do SOO MUCH….because I get to witness LOVE, at it’s very best and truest form. And love is AWESOME. And getting to capture it is really great too! Melissa & Eric’s wedding was just SUCH a FANTASTIC day…..with a wonderful mix of warmth, joy, true friendships, happiness, fun, meaningful aspects, sweet families, tear jerking moments, amazing weather, a fantastic city and soo much LOVE. I was soo honored to be a part of it!! Much love to you both, Melissa & Eric!!
