What a fantastic wedding Emily & John had! I totally adore them as a couple! I’ve been soo lucky to photograph several weddings in Emily’s group of college friends…so everytime I’m with them…it’s like being with old friends and I have such a blast!! It’s crazy because several of the couples who’s weddings I’ve shot have kids now…and more than one…so it seriously makes me feel a little old…and question why I haven’t found time to have my own kids yet!! Ha!! Emily & John were soo cool & laid back about their wedding and I loved that! They are both SUCH wonderful, genuine people….I’ve truly enjoyed working with them! They also have such kind, warm families, too….they were soo welcoming to me! It was a gorgeous wedding, too…sooo beautiful, well planned and super fun!! It was held at one of my favorite Churches in the city, St. Joan of Arc. It’s soo beautiful! The reception was at the Montage! They always have great weddings and great food. I also got to work with my great friends, Bob Ridge with IndyVisual Videography and Jason Fritz with ProSound. Tom, one of my former grooms…and the husband of the bride’s close friend….is VERY well known for his Michael Jackson impersonation…and we were lucky enough to see Michael come out at the reception! It was awesome and is always the hilight of the dancing!! Emily & John…you are just soo awesome, I loved being a part of your fantastic, fun wedding! Thank you for being soo wonderful to me!

Sooooo…..I forgot to mention this! I, myself and several other local photographers were called by MTV, yes…..MTV! We are just that cool……they just called to tell us that! NO, I’m kidding! hahaha! (still in shock that I got a call from MTV…hello!!!) They called because they are looking for YOUNG BRIDES to feature on a documentary they are doing on young marriages. You MUST be between the ages of 18-21 to be featured…that is the CATCH! I know that none of my brides are that young….but if you know of ANYONE that age, who is getting married between now and the end of the year…… who would want their wedding to be featured on MTV…have them call me and I’ll give them the info! Should be verrrrrry interesting! (in my head, i’m hearing….i wannnnt myyyy mmmtttttvvvvvv….) hehehe!
