ANG…I was just about to email you!! I KNEW you were loving it too!! I was DROOLING over the reception detail shots I got….there was a ton of cool lighting and that lens was ROCKING the shots!! Oh, I love it!! The 85 1.2 is still VERY near and dear to my heart….I had my perfect world of photographic harmony…..my two favorite lenses, one on each camera! ;)

In my best Joey Lawrence impersonation….WOOOOOOO!

The 50 ROCKS!

I am sure in about 6 months we will all be sick of hearing about it. :-( Glad to know that the 50 is the new 85.

Spent another 12 hours at a wedding today and I couldn’t go to bed without checking your blog.

I need to start a Jessica Strickland Blog support group for those of us who are addicted.

My name is Brandon….and I am a Jessica Strickland Blog junkie.

Can you tell I am out of mind tired? :-)

We enjoyed working with you two yesterday…wish Mark would have stayed longer!!!!! I know he was tired and missed his TV.

Happy New Year to all!

Wow. That’s the most amazing bokeh I’ve ever seen. How incredible is this picture?

Oh! And Jess, I’ve always wondered do you use any photoshop actions that you’ve bought or have you made your own over the years?

Ok so as you know I look at your blog everyday to look at your photos because i think you are amazing and SO incredibly inspirational. No offense to any other photographers, but nothing compares to you and your style. You are absolutely the best out there, and you inspire me to do my passion, and that’s be an exceptional photographer. You are just amazing and I can’t wait until you can photograph Brandon and I when we have kids. ;)

By the way—Happy New Year to you & Mark!!

Ok, so about that picture, it is absolutely amazing. She is gorgeous and you (and the lens) really brought out her true beauty. Nice choice on the lens! …I’ll be checking in cause I cant WAIT to see the rest of the pictures from the wedding. A new year with a new toy…what could be better? :)

I remember her from the engagement shots…she’s got gorgeous eyes…

Is it wrong to fall in love with a photograph? lol. I love everything about this image, the color, the DOF….now I desperately want to start saving up my money for a lens.

Stunning image and stunning bride!! I bet you’re lovin’ your new toy!! I Know I would be.

Would you recommend a fixed 1.8 50mm or 85mm over a zoom if I could only get one?? (I have a zoom, but not a 2.8 zoom).

Is the 50mm 1.2 lens vastly different from the 50mm 1.4 lens? I love your photography! Best wishes and happy new year!
