I simply adore this family!! I became friends with Emily & Pat when I shot their wedding in 2007 and then had the honor of photographing their son, Charlie when he arrived in 2009 and now their sweet baby girl, Lucy!! It’s been such a true joy being their friends and getting to witness their family grow!! Soo much love to you, Emily, Pat, Charlie & Lucy…I loved spending my afternoon with all of you!!! My 10 Month old girl!! I can’t believe it’s been 10 months since I felt her kick in my belly and wondered all about how she would be….since I’ve had a full nights sleep but don’t mind at all….since I knew life with only Mark and my business of course (my other spouse!). It’s been such an amazing, fun, incredible ride and it really just gets better and better by the day…especially when she wakes me up by say Hi! Hi! Hi!!, gives me the biggest smile when I walk into a room and stares into my eyes as she drifts off to sleep. It’s impossible not to fall in love! She now crawls extremely fast, is intriqued with everything, dances and bounces to any kind of music, says DADA and HI very well, laughs all the time, is crazy about books, dolls and anything that makes noise, loves looking at herself in the mirror and is the LIGHT of our lives! It’s truly amazing to think that all that has happened in 10 short months, yet how I can barely remember life without her!

And because she now greets me after her nap with this sweet face and smile…standing UP in her crib! Such a big girl…
