ELLA

Ella is the adorable little daughter of one of my past wedding couples, Lyndsy & Brent! I adore them as a couple…and you know how I love to watch my couples grow into families…and it was soo special meeting little Ella! She is an absolute doll and we had a terrific session which ended with smiles! (which is rare with little ones!) I know the question is going to come up so I’ll go ahead and let you know…her adorably funky outfits are from Matila Jane…a super cute clothing line that I have a feeling might become a small obsession of mine when my own little ones arrive one day! :) Thanks for a GREAT shoot, Lyndsy & Ella….can’t wait for next time! :)

****On another note….boy OH boy am I a BUSY BUSY girl these days and so I am SORRY for being behind on pretty much EVERYTHING right now!! This always happens come fall…when the busy-ness of spring and summer and the backload of work from both seasons and my crazy schedule, loads of meetings, shoots and travels alllll catch up with me and I feel like I’m just plain BURIED in work of all kinds!! This is one of the first times I’ve even been in my office all week and it’s 11:30 on a Friday night…how sad is that!!? No worries, though…I’m plowing through it all as fast as my little self will go and I’ll have your blog post/wedding/portrait session/engagement session/album/email/invoice/voicemail etc, etc, etc back to you as soooon as I possibly can! THANK YOU for the extra dose of grace & patience that you all extend to me! I appreciate it (and need it!) more than you know!! :)

*CHARLI*

2 + 1/2 MONTHS

Oh, I swear…she just gets sweeter and sweeter by the day and now…she smiles you when you talk to her now and I think I’ve officially melted like 50 times because I just love it soo much!! She’s turning into a chunky little monkey…12 pounds and counting!

Ok…this picture is a bit ridiculous…but it cracked me up soo much that I had to share it! I was taking pictures of Charli when my glasses fell off and landed on her…which gave me the brilliant idea to put them on her…and when I did..she wrinkled her nose all up and looked like this little old school teacher and I was just laughing soo hard…I had to share!
