Oh, this couple is AWESOME….and reeeally patient! ha! I adore them, I loved their wedding, love their friends & family….it was just the most awesome day! Well, maybe in every way EXCEPT the weather. We only have a FEW days during the year in Indiana where it just POURS from morning to night without stopping….and sadly, Tara & Jimmy had one of those days. I felt SOO badly for them because they had the most lovely, fall oriented, outdoor wedding planned…but they rolled with the punches and above all, just wanted to be MARRIED to each other, regardless of the weather…so it worked out great! We even got a tiny little bit of rain free time before it got dark and ran out with the whole wedding party to capture as much as we could….and we found the most incredible walkway through the trees, exploding with fall color…so it really all worked out in the end!! It was also fun to see another one of my recent couples fresh off their honeymoon! Tara & Jimmy….I’ve loved you from the first time we met, you two are soo awesome together and being a part of your wedding and gaining you as friends has been such a fantastic honor for me!! xoxo!!

It’s no secret, I’m behind on blogging because I just can’t get enough hours in the day or days in the week right now…and so I owe all of my clients a HUGE deal of THANKS for their patience!! I appreciate it soo much because I know how anxious people are to see their images…and I completely understand! So, Corinna & Dan…thank you for being soo kind and patient!!

When I think back to Corinna & Dan’s wedding, I can’t help but smile when I think of how both Corinna & Dan were truly GLOWING with total joy on their wedding day. It’s easy to see in the images, but in person, it was really special and soo magical. They have such a genuine affection for one another, such a rich connection and love between them…it’s incredible. It’s what makes everyone love LOVE…and they have IT!! Their day was soo beautiful, thoughtful and joyful!! Corinna and Dan wanted to spend their whole day surrounded by their family and friends, which I loved…so we literally just hung out together for several hours, doing pictures, talking and laughing, enjoying each others company and making their wedding day a true time of joining of friends, families and lives. They went on to share their very first kiss ever in a super special and emotional moment during their ceremony..and it was a highlight moment for sure. Later in the evening, they surprised everyone with (sorry to all of my other clients) the BEST first dance that I have seen in YEARS! I mean, all of my couples are taking the first dance to a whole new level of awesomeness…but this one was amazing!!! They combined several dance styles, fun and seriousness, incredible energy and vibrancy….it was just great!! I couldn’t help but put a ton of images in b/c I loved this dance soo much! This whole day was just GREAT….special and intimate and fun and sooo full of love!! Corinna & Dan, you are such a special couple, it was such an honor to be your photographer and get to capture your love!! I wish you a lifetime of the kind of joy that you felt on your wedding day….and I fully believe that you will have it!
