I think your right about the fixed lenses

Oh my gosh! People would sooo get the wrong idea about professional photography from this show. Did you see the one episode where one of the “photogs” asked how to zoom a prime lens??? Must be an alternate”reality.”

LOL I saw the one where the photog tried to zoom the prime lens…that was pretty funny.

Thanks to my DVR I think I have seen all the shows now. How about that 3D setup with 90 cameras in a 180 degree circle. That would have been fun to play with.

OH YEA…I about died when that girl asked how to zoom the 85 1.2. I instantly said, OH…she’s a GONER!! I mean…her sense of style told me that she would probably have a pretty good eye, but the fact that she was CLUELESS about photography never gave her the chance. That 90 camera setup was NUTS! I thought that challenge was misleading and weird, though….they asked for movement with the hair…and gave them trampolines and the 3D setup for the shoot…and when they USED the trampolines and 3D setup…and gave MOVEMENT to the hair…they were told they TOTALLY missed the point?? I didn’t exactly LIKE the images…but I wasn’t sure what ELSE they were supposed to do!! AND you are totally right BOBBI…they NEVER have anything nice to say. Some of those boat images were pretty sweet…and they ripped them apart. INTERESTING how they are constantly RIPPING on the wedding photographer telling him to STOP acting like a wedding photographer!! It drives me NUTS now other non wedding photographers DOWN wedding photography…but only because they KNOW they could NEVER do it and they are TOO intimidated by it…so they RIP on it and put it down! irritating!!!!

I agree with you Jess about the 3D shoot being misleading. I still don’t know what they expected the photographers to do. I just finished watching last nights show. I’m sure everyone caught Airic ask for a “micro” lens. lol Where did they actually find these photographers? One tried to zoom a prime, and another one asked for a micro instead of a macro. Mark one up this week for the wedding photographer!!!

“LA LA LA LA LALALALALAL” not reading (get it I’m talking w/ my hands over my ears so I can’t hear Brian’s comment) I haven’t watched last night’s yet. (okay I”m a dork) Anyway, JESS yeah it totally makes me mad to how they act like wedding photographers aren’t talented or whatever.

Still love the show. Reality TV sucks me in everytime!!!
