christmas.2007

Ohhhh…how I am behind on blogging…sooooo behind!! Weddings, engagements, portraits and more….my blogging skills are definitely lacking during these super hectic holiday times!! I’m very sorry….and if you are waiting on a blog post/images/an album design/etc, please know that I will be spending the next several weeks (and months!) working at a feverish pace to get things back on schedule! 🙂 Thank you for your patience!!

So, after a CRAZY month and final week leading up to Christmas, Mark begged and pleaded with me to get away from the computer and spend a little time enjoying the holiday season with NO work….OH…and to actually get some Christmas shopping done! Soo, the Friday before Christmas, we scored last minute tickets to the Yuletide Celebration (thanks to whoever canceled their seats at noon that day and I luckily called at 12:02 and got the only two seats that opened up for that sold out show! yay me!) and a reservation at McCormick & Schmick’s….and we had a WONDERFUL evening!! Yuletide always gets me in the holiday spirit….even if it is at the very last minute! 🙂 It was such a great way to lead up to Christmas….and it was a mood booster for the marathon of Christmas shopping that we did the next day!! Due to my crazy work schedule for the past two months, I had not purchased ONE gift until three days before Christmas!! ha!! Talk about making for one exhausting day of shopping!! So, Mark and I started early on Saturday and shopped until the last store kicked us out at Midnight!! We then spent the next day jammed packed with family Christmases and even attempted to finish our shopping at 11pm that night until we were kicked out again!! Monday was a complete frenzy of organizing, wrapping, decorating, cooking and packing…and we miraculously got it all done made it to our 5pm dinner reservation, Church at 7 and family outing to see Christmas Lights at 9!! It was such fun!! Christmas day was magical….as it always is!! Mark and I wake up with my family and do presents in the morning, then head off to spend the day and Christmas Night with his family!! It was Graham’s first Christmas and that made it SOO extra special!! After Christmas, I was busy back at work with family shoots and portraits…and photographed a wonderful wedding yesterday to finish off my season…all of which I will be blogging in the next couple of weeks!! I hope you are all enjoying a wonderful holiday season and remembering how blessed we all are!! 🙂 With love…..
