I have to be honest, this has been one of my most anticipated weddings of the year! I truly look forward to EVERY wedding….but this wedding has been a long time in the making and I’ve really walked by Angela’s side in the whole planning process, through many ups and downs in the process, which is the reason why it was much anticipated! So, it was very near and dear to my heart, as are Angela & Marty! Let me just tell you, though, that it was SOO worth it because this wedding was nothing short of COMPLETELY FABULOUS!!!!!! I mean, what wedding with two amazing people, two incredible families and sets of friends, the Westin, the Statehouse Rotunda, Tiffany rings, Monique Lhuillier dress, Stuart Weitzman Shoes(yes, I was a weee bit obsessed!), the fantastic Eventfull Planning team and the wonderful Gene Huddleston from Detail & Design doing all the decor and a plethura of other fantastic things wouldn’t be AMAZING!!!! Angela & Marty also put such great thought into everything, going to the extent of having the meal at the wedding be the exact same meal that they first shared as a newly engaged couple, right after Marty proposed, in Paris! Soo neat! It also was super cool because it turned out to be a fancy burger & fries! It was a HUGE hit! It was just an great day in every possible way! Marty & Ang….you know I adore you and I can’t tell you what an honor it was for me to be a part of your wedding and witness you being married! I’m soo incredibly happy for you! Hope you are LOVING Maui! 😉

  1. What an amazing wedding. I just LOVE all the details of it! The colors of the dresses are so unique, and the shoes are perfect! (I am obsessed with shoes and purses).

And the ML wedding gown, WOW! I actually met her in person and she is SUCH a sweet, warm person. If I could have afforded it, I would have totally had one of her dresses!

The flowers are just amazing too! So unique!

I just LOVE photographing weddings because no two are EVER the same! That’s what makes our jobs SO much fun!! Don’t you think?!?!

Great job as always Jess! I am anxious to see the album for this one! How many weddings have you done this year?? You’re really rockin’!!

  2. Jessica,

These past few months I have been finding myself anxious to see every new post on your blog. I am so excited that you will be taking photos for Daren and I this Friday. I truly believe that nothing captures a moment or a memory better than one of your photos. I just wanted to let you know that I love your work and cannot wait to begin working with you!!!
