  1. Well, its no secret that I am an emotional person, so I am going to admit that I am sitting here in a pool of my own tears after viewing these amazing photos. I became very attached to this family in the course of helping design this special day and seeing it all come to life in these images brings all of the emotion back. I told you that I did not know how you physically do what you do — you are such a powerhouse (for such a petite stature!) to capture everything that you do at such a high level. The brown-tone image of Gina and Grant standing in front of the limo in Lockerbie is what started the tears for me! Its a stunning image of a truly beautiful couple. As you know, I worked in magazines for years and I think I know a little about telling a story through images. Well, you did that beautifully,Ms.Strickland. The bride gave ME a wonderful gift when she hired YOU to photograph this day. It was a true pleasure.

  2. Jessica, I’ve been following your blog for almost 5 years now. You were one of my inspirations into the world of wedding photography. After College, I always said I would never shoot weddings. Now, I would never do anything else. Thank you so much for being so inspiring and capturing such amazing images. This is probably my favorite wedding you’ve shot. Kudos to the bride, groom and everyone involved in this gorgeous day.
