When I first spoke with Melissa, I realized that this was going to be a fantastic wedding…and that she and Eric were really awesome people. She was soo nice and sweet….laid back and easy to work with…the perfect kind of client. I was about to have a baby (it was a while ago! Kudos to Melissa for being ontop of things!) so she was very understanding when I couldn’t meet or get together to discuss all the normal details that I would usually do. Well, the wedding drew closer and Melissa and I scheduled a phone meeting…it was then that I realized that we just CLICKED and we sat on the phone for over 3 hours!! She is truly special, a wonderful, thoughtful, considerate, one of a kind kind of person. When I heard about Eric, his accomplishments and his heart…I realized that they were literally mean’t for each other. As Melissa was telling me about their relationship, what they’ve gone through together, how he calms her, how she loves him…I remembered EXACTLY why I love what I do SOO MUCH….because I get to witness LOVE, at it’s very best and truest form. And love is AWESOME. And getting to capture it is really great too! Melissa & Eric’s wedding was just SUCH a FANTASTIC day…..with a wonderful mix of warmth, joy, true friendships, happiness, fun, meaningful aspects, sweet families, tear jerking moments, amazing weather, a fantastic city and soo much LOVE. I was soo honored to be a part of it!! Much love to you both, Melissa & Eric!! I hope your honeymoon to Fiji and Australia was as incredible as it sounded…and I wish you both a lifetime of the same love I watched you exude for one another on your wedding day! xoxo!!

If I could describe this wedding in one word, it would be OMG!!!! Ok, that’s technically three words when NOT an acronym, but whatever, you get it, right!?! OH MY GOSH!! What a crazy, awesome, uber fun, laugh until it hurts, don’t want it to end kind of BLAST Melody & John’s (MAGGARD!!) wedding was!! When I first met Melody…I instantly loved her sense of humor, how GORG she was and her sense of style…and I just had a feeling that that would sneak it’s way into their wedding day, and LUCKY FOR ME…it DID!! And then I met John…and he instantly showed me his custom made polka dot lined, red zippered (yes THAT zipper!) SUIT and I was pretty much sold. From there on out, the entire day was sheer joy and perfection…oh and an absolute BLAST!! A wonderful vendor & venue team made the day flow perfectly, look stylish and beautiful…and create one heck of a party!! It was truly great! Melody & John…you two are just plain COOL. And wonderfully kind, warm, fun, endearing, in love, rock some awesome style, have uber cool friends and family, are hysterical, rocked the posing for pictures, know how to have a blast, awesome, low key, easy going, did I mention FUN!? Thank you for being soo wonderful to work with, embracing the photography on your wedding day and being all together GREAT!! Your wedding was one that I will never forget. I wish you a lifetime of endless laughter and crazy love.
