Meet Jessica

Jessica Strickland

A few notes from Jessica…

I am truly blessed to be able to say that I love what I do! Photography is my passion, I cannot imagine doing anything else! How else can one moment last forever and bring joy at every observation! That is what makes photography amazing! Holding a degree in fine art photography, from the Ohio Institute of Photography, I not only know the joy of having a career in Photography, but I am deeply know ledged in the technical makeup of the art, which comes full circle to make every image the very best it can be. I approach weddings with a very easygoing spirit, as weddings bring enough anxiety on their own. I am there to do my best work, without being obtrusive, merely being a detailed observer.

I believe that every wedding is incredibly unique and should be treated just as that. It is such an honor to be able to capture every moment, every emotion of the biggest day of one’s life! I believe that you should hire a photographer whose images you can see yourself in and want to continue to for your entire life! Flowers will fade and the cake will be gone, but your photography will remind you of the happiness, the details, the wonder and the joy that your wedding day brought, for a lifetime!

Passion, emotion, observation, joy.

Anisha Thomas Indianapolis Marriott North Indian Wedding

Jessica, you are a magnificent, brilliant and most fantastic photographer, one of a kind.
This comes from the father and mother of the bride. As a father (parents) we wanted the best for our daughter’s wedding. I am a keen photographer and have photographed a few family weddings. So I had some concerns, when we first met with Jessica to discuss the assignment along with our daughter, Anisha, and the groom, Thomas. How misguided and wrong was I. She became part of our family without us realizing it. Her infectious laughter and pleasant personality put us at ease.
But the proof of the pudding was the wedding day photography. As parents we were so engrossed in the various tasks of a Hindu wedding that we we missed the forest for the trees. But now when I look at the photographs, i feel so elated at looking at all the special moments that Jessica captured. It looks like we were at a different wedding altogether! on top of that we received so many wonderful comments from the guests about Jessica. Although she was busy taking many photographs, she was neither intrusive nor impolite. I still get a big smile on my face when I go over the photos and I have seen them many a times! Thank you for capturing these wonderful pictorial memories for us.
A big hug and thank you. The Patel family has adopted you.
