Yesterday was a very big day for Mark and I…and our families! Mark’s sister, Hannah, had a beautiful baby boy, Graham Matthew Winchester Huddleston, last night at 7:30. It is fair to say that it was a surprise because we weren’t expecting him until the end of January. We were still in the process of helping them get the nursery together and everything! Well, when Hannah went in for a routine appointment, yesterday, the doctor noticed that the baby’s heartrate was low and they wanted to keep her for observation. Things continued to not go so well and they decided that they had to take her in for an emergency c section. We got the call at 7 last night and rushed to the hospital (camera in tow). It was pretty scarey but the doctor made the right decision and we’re really grateful for that. Graham arrived at 7:22, weighing in at 6 pounds, 3 ounces. He is perfect and showed no signs of being several weeks early…which was such a great blessing! He is absolutely the cutest baby I have ever seen! (I’m pretty partial though because I’m in LOVE with him!!!) The nurses were all soo wonderful and gave me an all access pass to capture these wonderful moments!! All is great now, everyone is very happy and we’re working now to try and pull everything together for Graham’s big homecoming!! Off to the hospital…. 🙂

  14. Hi Jessica,

After meeting you last year in Chicago and hearing your wedding photography story, I’m wondering how things are going? I won’t say anything more as I know your clients read this….and this is about business. Please write me on my e-mail address.

These images are beautiful. Are you using the new 85 f/1.2? Keep up the good work!

  15. Dear Jessica, as the Great Grandmother of this little miricle, I need to compliment you on the really great pics. I have forwarded the site to my daughter Kim( Connie’s sister) and she was so impressed with them also. She has recently returned to school to become a graphic artist, so she was very impressed with your website.
I really like the B&W photos and I can see Ben’s Grandfather Alexander in the baby’s face. I can also see Ben there. I also want to thank you for the nice shower you had for Hannah and how much I enjoyed being in your home.LOve A’Lucia (Chick)
